Cisco 2505 configuration questions
Hi all,
I just bought a 2505 on eBay and I'm stranded even trying to connect to the router to configure it so I can talk to it.
I connected an RJ-45 cable to the back of the Console port and ran the cable to the back of my PC to COM3 (DB9) and I couldn't connect to the router. What I'm doing wrong?
Is there a way to connect to the router via one of the Ethernet ports (one of the 8 hub ports)?
Is there a default password for this router? If I get to connect to the router--- what should I expect to see and type?
I'm soooooo new on this that any help would be very apprecaited.
Someone said that I should go to the Cisco site to download the manual, however the manual is no longer available.
