Networkers Journal

I have read during my Cisco course about having a journal to record experiences and information about things such as trouble shooting and problem solving, this is a completely non technical question but does any one have any recommendations about were to buy an appropriate note pad or book from in the UK for this? I know Cisco do their own with some handy features

but that's not to say its the best option.

I would love to hear if any one has tried this and how useful it has been top keep a journal.
