Getting started Websites.

I am brand new in the HA community, and I was curious if their were any websites for Home Automation similar to what

does for the Tech Community or does for HTPC's? A place where someone can go over vendors, view the newest products, news,reveiws , forums, guides etc... The homeautomationforum.com site seems a bit dead and coccontech.com is somewhat informational ,and at least it does have forums, however the site leaves alot to be desired.

Any help is greatly appreciated...
