Folks, please pass your opinion on the stats below. Obviously the
speed is good. I powered equipment up and down three times and got
consistent numbers every time.

Estimated distance to CO is about 7,000 feet. Earthlink is the ISP,
1.5 MB DSL. BellSouth is the Telco.

ADSL Status ADSL Connection Up
Resync Count 0
ADSL Mode G.DMT
Downstream Bit Rate 1472 Kbps
Upstream Bit Rate 256 Kbps
Downstream Capacity Occupation 29 %
Downstream Noise Margin 28.49 dB
Downstream Attenuation 56.25 dB
Downstream Output Power 19.05 dBm
Upstream Capacity Occupation 27 %
Upstream Noise Margin 21.00 dB
Upstream Attenuation 31.50 dB
Upstream Output Power 11.97 dBm

Thanks,
Tim

These are excellent numbers. Downstream Noise Margin nearly 29dB which
is very good. I've rarely seen numbers above 30 or 31 dB even when right
on to of the DSLAM. Same thing with Upstream.

The two numbers that really stand out are Occupation% numbers. 29% down
and 27% up. Both are excellent.

This is a good solid line. No physical impairments, just good solid synch.

Are you experiencing any problems??

John

John,

We are having no problems whatsoever. Very happy campers !! Speeds are
great and the DSL modem has been sync'ed solid for over a week. I just
wanted to get some opinions of the other numbers.

Thanks,
Tim
