wireless card signal booster

does anybody know whether I can get an adapator for my wireless network laptop card to boost the signal range to connect to wireless routers? or whether i would need to purchase a new card? many thanks

That probably won't help, because shouting louder won't help on listening. Instead get a better antenna, which helps both sending and receiving. See wikis below.
