hi

I have two computers either side of my house with a wifi router (dlink) in
the middle. Both pcs are accessing the router with no problem. I want to
move the router beside one of the pcs to get wired access.... this results
in no wifi for computer 2. Can anyone recommend a router with strong
wireless ( my digital phone has no problem anywhere in the house) or a
repeater product that I could put where the original router was ?

I would thing you would get a wireless repeater and put it in the middle
of the house.

All you may need is a high-gain antenna for the router. See the wikis
below.
