WGT624 etended signal

I have an offsite employee who has a wGT624 for his home office. It is completely setup with the extended wireless turned on and all our company needed settings. He gets limited signal in most of the home and needs to boost the signal. Is there any hardware compatible with this router that can boost the signal? If so what brand/model and how would I configure the WGT624 to utilize that hardware? any help or guidance is appreciated.

Buffalo makes a wireless router with higher power than the WGT624. The improvement is modest.

Higher antenna gain can help depending on what directions must be "illuminated" with signal:

If the wireless router is at one end of the house, a directional antenna might help.

Otherwise a higher gain (6-8 dBi) omni might help.

A "repeater" can be used to extend range, but cuts throughput in half, and can be difficult to make word reliably.

Other options include powerline networking, phoneline networking, and coax networking.

See wikis below for lots of useful information.
