USB adapter

I want to buy a USB 802.11g wireless adapter. Does anyone have any recommendations, or types to avoid? Or are they all much the same?

Thanks, Stephen

Plays well with XP SP2. Install driver only and let XP handle the rest. Works with Netstumbler, but no noise info. :( I can put it up on the dash of my car and it finds tons of APs HTH

Have tried several, and found the D-Link G122 GWL best. Easy to position for best signal, putting a folded silver foil covered card behind it makes even a weak signal very steady. And you can take the dongle out and use it directly with a laptop. Regards, Martin
