Two wireless routers on one network?

Hi,

I just purchased a Netgear WGT24. I have a couple devices that have

802.11b functionality built into their hardware, but want to take full advantage of the super G performance offered by my new router. My old router is a D-link di-713P. What I would like to do is to keep both of them on the network and assign each router its own channel and ssid. In theory this seems easy enough but are there any gotchas I should be aware of? Will I be able to utilize file and printer sharing between devices on different segments of the network?

Are there any howtos or writeups on this anywhere?

Thanks for any info.
