Hi im currently using my laptop Dell with an internal wifi G card and I need to make reception stronger because honestly its slow how do i do this ive seen those $5 wifi boosters on ebay do they work need some answers thnks what about that cantana gizmo
Cantenna or any external antenna can help a good deal, but does your internal card have any way to connect it? Probably not.
The wifi boosters are generally regarded as snake oil, but I haven't personally tried one. The EE in me is dubious at best about them.
Purchasing a separate wifi card with an external antenna is one way to go. But do you have control over the location of your access point? External antennae for it may also help.
