Sharing one IP Address

I live in Europe and have high speed internet but with only one IP address and I can presently only use one comp on it. A friend told me that it might be possible to use a wireless router, putting in the IP address and then having the ability to share among several comps.

Is this true? If so, how?

Thank you for any help.

You can achieve the same with a wired router as well.

You may be violating your ISP's terms of service by "splitting" the access.
