Router + outdoor TV antenna

I have an external Yagi (basically) antenna and i want to attach that for my Linksys WRT54G and i want to know if there is an adapter to change from the tiny coax connection on the router to a normal coax cable so i can more easily facilitate this.

More than likely the Yagi antenna is not in the range of your Linksys, so it would not work anyway. Is there any labels on the antenna that give a manufacture and model number, if not the frequency.

Yes, I think that sounds right for your router, though there is some 5ghz stuff out there. And Radio shack or a local two way radio shop (Motorola dealer) should be able to help you out with any adapters needed if the antenna does match your router frequency.

Check out this link below. Does the antenna look similar to these.

If you find out that the antenna on your building was used for an old base station in the UHF band, the above link may help achieve what you want to do. But I thought Radio Shack carried 2.4ghz Yagi antennas.
