RADIUS Authentication

I am having a heck of a time using a consumer grade Access Point with a demo radius server. If tried the Linksys WRT54G and USR 5450 and USR 8054 as access points (all RADIUS capable). Then I've used Aradial demo and WinRadius as the RADIUS server software. But so far nothing allows me to access the network from a Windows XP client. In fact, the RADIUS server software never receives an authentication request. And I can never get an IP address on the Win XP client. I keep thinking I have the wrong access point or wrong RADIUS server software but now I am wondering if the client PC Card needs to be some sort of RADIUS capability. I've played with EVERY setting in the wireless network settings in XP but no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jim Bohan
