Peer-to-Peer w/less nwork - keeps needing to be reset

Got a desktop PC with a cheap PCI wireless card and a Dell laptop with (I assume) a decent built in card. Both are set up and peer-to-peer and appear to work fine at home. Great signal no problems..

Trouble is from one day to the next the wireless connection does'nt work. I need to go to the desktop and disable/enable the wireless card for it to work again. Sometimes I need to reboot the actual PC.

Bit of pain or what???

Any ideas ?

Hmm. We're talking USB connected BT Voyager ADSL modem here.

Do you have your system power settings set to hibernate/standby/etc? Go to control panel, power settings, and set it all to never turn off. (you can still let the screen saver run, but NOT any of the power off after xx hours).
