Hi ive got a windows 2000 desktop with an athalon cpu and 64 m of ram. I am trying to install a d-link wireless pci adaptor to connect to my other desktop with the d-link wireless router. Whenever i start the computer with the pci card it wont log on to the windows screen, any ideas
Try a different PCI slot Try safe mode Go into BIOS setup and look for conflicting IRQ's
When I installed my DWL-520+ the instructions had me install the drivers, then shut down the computer and install the card. Did you follow the instructions for your card?
