Linksys and Airport advice?

I had setup an older Linksys 4 port router several years back to create a small LAN at home and allow several computers to access through my DSL connection. I inherited an iBook a few yeas later as a hand-me-down, and was able to successfully connection an Apple Airport Extreme to that. As an end result I had a couple of PC hooked up through Ethernet and a wireless iBook.

Now I'm trying to setup one of the PCs with a wireless connection. I got my hands on a newer Linksys 802.11G route and wasn't sure of the best way to approach this. Is there a way to get a Linksys card to connect to an Airport, or do I need to swap my old Linksys router with the new one and have two separate wireless access points? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes, just like any other Wi-Fi network.
