Is there any opensource code for my Liunksys WAP11 AP ?

I've got a spare WAP11 access point and would like to play with some open source code for it, if it exists, just for grins.

Is there anything?

WAP11 v1.0, 2.2, 2.6, or 2.8 ???

Nope. Part of the problem is that there were several radically different versions of the WAP11 with different chipset manufacturers. The other part is that it doesn't run Linux based firmware. If there's no GPL code listed on the Linksys web pile, there probably is no open source code (which is usually based on the factory code).

If you want to tinker, trys some of these hacks:

Also, note that the various GL2422 products that are the same as the WAP11 v2.2. Most of the firmware hacks are interchangeable, but watch the hardware version number. For example:

I've used DLink and Linksys firmware interchangeably on the WAP11.
