Installing D-Link WUA-1340 using Ndiswrapper

Hi,

I've been trying to install my USB D-Link WUA-1340 wireless adapter on debian. I installed the dr71wuy.inf drivers using Ndiswrapper. I got a driver present and hardware present message. However, when booting up or plugin in the card I get the following message:

usb 1-2.1: new full speed USB device using address 3 ndiswrapper: driver dr71wu (D-Link,11/03/2005, 1.00.01.0000) loaded Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address

The adapter does not work (lights do not blink). Any ideas?
