DHCP and DLink DI-514

When I access the web control functions and go to the DHCP window there are no clients listed even though 2 or 3 computers are connected. I have the July 2004 firmware update installed and I run Windows XP on 2 of the 3 computers.

How do I get the clients to show up in the list?

Reading about DHCP in the DLink support area it talks about clients being list when they boot up. What about when the lease time expires and a new IP is assigned?

On two other routers (Siemens Speedstream 2406 and Linksys WRT54G) I am having trouble with new IP addresses being assigned when the lease expires. When the lease expires the network connection is broken and I have re-booted the router to assign IP addresses. Is there another way?
