Dell Latitude D610 / linksys problem

I have a new Dell Latitude D610 and a linksys wireless router at home. I am able to connect, but only for about ten minutes. Once the connection is lost, i need to re-boot the cable modem (unplug) to connect again. Still for only about ten minutes. I have two other machines that are able to connect to the internet through the same router. Help please.

Disable 802.11x authentication in the TCP/IP settings (I think that is where it is).
