Cingular has been experiencing data problems here in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past week, and no resolution date is yet available. Symptoms are periods of erratic speed with long pauses. Yesterday there was a complete outage (connections but no data flowing) of about two hours in at least some parts of the East Bay. My guess is that this is probably related to the turn on and rollout today of BroadbandConnect (HSDPA) high-speed data service. (See related post to follow.)
