Chipset in USB adaptors WG111 and DWL_G122

Since you have both adapters, you should also have the FCC ID numbers. Go unto: |

type in the FCC ID numbers. The photos and descriptions should give some clue as to the chipset.

I'm not sure what's in the DWL-G122, but the DWL-122 looks like this inside:

guess(tm) is that it's NOT the same board as the DWL-G122. There's also some difference between the A1 and A2 mutations of the DWL-G122.

Hi All, I'm interested in USB stuff, and I wonder if these Netgear and DLink wifi adaptors contain the same chipset? The code to initialize them in Win98SE looks identical, the firmware for Netgear is 2.5.8.0 dated May 14/2004 and for DLink is 2.5.12.0 dated July 1/2004.

Does anyone know of a pdf describing the (Prism?) chipset?

thanx, VicH.
