Does anybody know the difference between the BT Voyager 1010 and the 1050 wireless adapters.
its different by about 40 numbers......:) Sorry, could not resist.......
BT Voyager 1010 USB Adapter is 802.11b (11Mbs)
BT Voyager 1050 USB Adpater is 802.11g (54Mbs)
You got me! Would this make any difference to my home network?
These are wireless adapters you would connect to a desktop or a laptop, but only if you have a wireless router/AP or gateway already installed in your network.
802.11b runs at 11Mbs and 802.11g runs at 54Mbs. A typical wired network runs at 100MBs. I have no idea what network configuration you are currently running, so I could not tell you what difference it would make.Robert....
