Acer aspire 5051 won't connect to internet through netgear wg602v3 AP

Hi I'm james & i'm new to the group

I have a new acer aspire 5051 laptop. I setup the wg602v3 access point to my ntl cable modem and tried to connect to it but it keeps saying "limited or no connectivity" but when i use my toshiba laptop with netgear PCMCIA card it works perfectly Any ideas?

Are you using WEP encryption? If so, use the Hex key, not the ASCII key on the Acer laptop. Yeah, I know you don't like to type 26 characters of hex gibberish.
