2Wire 1000HG Modem/Router (wireless?) Question?

My neighbor just purchased SBCYahoo! DSL from SBC. They sent him a

2Wire 1000HG device as a modem/router. The 2Wire site references this device as an 802.11g AP as well. I cannot see/tell if this is true.

Does anyone have any experience with this unit and if so is it in fact a wireless AP? Anything have to be done to enable the wireless feature?

TIA

Yes it is a True Wireless AP/Modem and Yes it has to be configured in the settings most likely via a web browser on ip address 192.168.0.1 or

192.168.1.1, it would be like this -> http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1

I hope this helps, oh by the way How good of a signal do you get they usually only operate at 20 to 28 milliwatts so you should only get 300 to 350 feet of range out of it.

See ya'll
