I just bought a Kingston 10-Base T KNE8TP/H hub to make some additional hardwire connections for my SBC dsl setup. It currently uses a 2Wire
1000 HG Home Portal wireless router/modem and I want to drive a desktop PC, a 175X JetDirect print server and an HP 712/60 Unix workstaion via the direct connection. The question therefore is "Is a 10 Base T hub fast enough for this in this environment? I typically run either the PC or the Unix box singlely."Cabling-Design.com Forums website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here.
