Please help with lost VPN connection

We have a Netgear FVS328 router/vpn appliance. Four telecommuters work from home offices and use the Netgear vpn client to connect to our file/application server. Everything has been working fine until last week when we changed telephone/internet vendors. They assigned us a different WAN-side static IP address, which I entered into the Netgear router and then into each of the VPN clients. Nothing else changed.

Now, however, one of the telecommuters cannot login to the VPN. When I check the log file I see the following error: "Error validating the proxy ID."

Can anyone suggest possible reasons this one client is having problems and what this particular error means?
