Hello Quick question. Just installed a Partner ACS system. Added a 4 mailbox card. Have everything setup. One question though, I know that a user can transfer a call direct to a users mailbox without ringing the user with vm transfer F14 but can a user leave a message in another users mailbox without ringing that user. Thanks in advance!
Only if the other user has their phone in Do Not Disturb. Then, when you call their extension their VM answers instead.
On the Partner Messsaging, instead of the PC Card Mail, you can log into your OWN mailbox, and press 1 to SEND a message to another mailbox.
Finally, you could call from Line 1 to Line 2, put Line 1 on Hold, answer Line 2, press Feature-14-XX and switch back to Line 1 to leave a message, but that's a bit much, don't you think?
