Dialogic Poor quality tone detection

I am looking to find a solution to detect poor quality tones on my Dialogic D/240SC-T1. We are currently using CAS 8BZS signaling over T1 using us_mf CDP. I am sure there has got to be a setting to decrease the amplitude threshhold for detecting tones, although I am unable to find this in the available documentation.

Please help.

Also, we will be migrating to ISDN protocol and would also like to know if this type of problem is applicable to ISDN protocol, and if so, how to remedy it.

Thanks!

Is it that you want to detect tones that are too quite to be picked up of that the audio channel is too quite to have the tones picked up?

You can use settings in the DCM (RXGain and TXGain) to adjust the amplitude of audio sent or received.

I'd like to be able to detecct tones that are too quiet to be interpreted. I am hoping for a more eloquent solution than using RXGain on all calls; I am hoping to lower the threshold of amplitude at which the tones will be detected.

Thanks!
