I am trying to set up the VM feature that allows callers the option to search for an extension by typing in a name. Our phone system is the Telrad Imagen V704, if anyone can direct me to a step-by-step procedure to complete this? I would be truly greatful!!!
Option 9 off the main greeting is the default route to the dial-by-name directory.
In system administration, through the keyboard and monitor, each mailbox must have the mailbox owners name keyed in by pressing F5 at the list of extensions.
And each mailbox owner must record their name in the appropriate spot. This is separate from, and not to be confused with, their main mailbox greeting. There is a place to record just "John Smith" or John Smith, extension 122"
