Please log in for more thread options O.K. So I sprung the $15 and signed up for a year of "free" calling. It might be kinda fun to be sitting in my favorite bar, calling numbers on my laptop's contact list for free instead of eating up cell minutes. Anyway, has anyone interfaced an ATA to SKYPE and what happens on incoming calls? Carl Navarro MICRO4477

Please log in for more thread options Carl, So far, I've only used Skype online and like it, however, I have also been looking at possibly using one of their "accessory" boxes shown on their website to add it to a spare C.O. port on my phone system. http://us.accessories.skype.com/direct/skypeusa/accessoriesList.jsp?acctype=53 I used to have a link for a simple USB to RJ11 type cable, but, unfortunately, can't seem to find it. If what they state there is true, then this seems viable. I'm just curious how you signed up for $15 a year, as their website currently shows a price of $29.95 US per year. If I find the link to the cable, I'll post it here. Hopefully, I'll get around to implementing this very soon. Currently, I tend to use my cell phone for long distance calling, but that's not the best solution. HTH. Peter.
