I am trying to set up a used phone system with new extension numbers
and voicemail boxes. I have succeeded in re-initializing the TDS95
and getting a VT100 terminal setup. I think that everything works
great except that... when an incoming call gets routed to the
voicemail box (after several rings unfortunately), it gets routed to
extension 199 (?) instead of the custom messages. Somehow extension
199 is programmed to allow the caller to select operator or voice/
email. I have concluded (ie, guessed) that the TDA50 is using a
"floating extension number" when it passes the call through. Of
course, I don't have the special software or manager passwords to do
much with the TDA50 programming. Anybody got any helpful advice...
or... any gurus in the Pittsburgh PA area want to help?
Thanks for your interest. Help!!!!
--- Mark.
