MONROE, La. (KNOE) - For the second time in six months, CenturyLink is
laying off more employees.

This time, about 1,000 will be left without a job, and it's raising
concerns with Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo.

"We certainly hope that it does not impact jobs at the corporate
headquarters. At this point, we just don't know," Mayo said.
