Right-wing activists accused of misleading robocalls ordered to issue new robocalls
A pair of right-wing activists accused of organizing and releasing tens of thousands of robocalls that included inaccurate information about mail-in voting have been ordered to distribute new calls with accurate information.
In a ruling from a federal judge in New York, Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman need to include language in their new robocall that in part states their previous call "contained false information that has had the effect of intimidating voters, and thus interfering with the upcoming presidential election, in violation of federal voting-rights laws." ========= rest:
