The history of Kansas is marred by battles of ideology that marked a
change in direction and placed Kansas in the crossroads between our
nation's past and its future.

USTelecom, a lobbying arm for AT&T, Centurylink, and other telecom
goliaths, along with NTCA, a consortium of independent telephone
companies, have again placed Kansas at the center of a battle over the
future of the country with a recent Op-Ed published by the Topeka
Capital-Journal. This time, it's about broadband.
