This baseline of encryption is the result of decades of dedicated work by privacy-concerned technologists aiming to safeguard users' personal information and address pressing demands for data and transaction safety. Web traffic encryption allows us to feel confident when we buy or bank online, access our medical records, and communicate on social media.
