Frustrated with the lack of an "iMessage-style" messaging app on your
Android phone? You may have to blame your carrier for that.

On Twitter, a senior VP for platforms and ecosystems at Google,
Hiroshi Lockheimer, said Google would love to work with their carrier
partners on rolling out RCS messaging in the U.S. and they were
"trying." Lockheimer also confirmed that RCS messaging is widely
available in the U.K. and France, with support for more countries on
the way.
