For a room (area 7 x 5m) of height 3.3m, what height should PIR sensors be installed? Is it the same for dual-techs?

Normally it says on the leaflet accompanying the detector.
You can't go far wrong with 2.4m pirs or dts.
I'd fit them wherever is neatest (wiring wise) They're not suddenly not going to work if they're mounted a little higher.
That said, check that leaflet first :)
