Went to our business and the alarm was not beeping when I opened the door. I went to te key pad and it said comm. failure.

The security system failed to send a signal to the monitoring center. Most alarm systems will try 8 times before displaying this message.
You might want to contact your alarm company and have them run some tests. You might have phone line problems.
