I was admitted to the hospice covered in huge, welt-like things. The edema went from my toes to mid-thighs and from my upper chest all over my face and back. Nothing was done in the middle of the night until they were 100% sure what this was. Then I got the exam results back. It's Cushings syndrome -- totally different. It's not good but it's nowhere near the danger they at first thought. Two nights in hospice and a change of medication. I'm back on my feet... well, not exactly on my feet, but I get around with a cane and an oxygen tank.
One of the common remarks you hear among cancer patients is that the cure is worse than the disease. This week was an example of just that. :^(
Thanks for the prayers, Robert
