Well, it was just for the one takeover so I wasn't about to go out and by a alpha keypad.
I worked it out OK. It just took me awhile to figure out and get past the a mazement that you couldn't see what you were programming. I tried numerous things until I finally gave up and just programmed it blind. I didn't find out until later that there actually isn't any way to see what you program e xcept with a higher end keypad. If you're installing them all the time I'm sure you've got a alpha key pad. But it kinda doesn't make sense that if yo ur installing low end panels that you have to carry a high end keypad with you.
Anyway, it was just one job.
