pc 1550 need to reset after disconnecting sensor and then connecting

I disconnected a glass break sensor and then reconnected it, zone light stays on, I need to reset system.

Try *7. If that doesn't work, remove the red power wire for a few seconds, then put it back on. If that doesn't work check how you wired the glassbreak.

You should be be using + - C NC on the glassbreak.

Is the End Of Line resistor in use? If so use C NO with the resistor across C NO also. You can use C NC if you series in the resistor.

So many minor things to look for. It could also be the zone you are using is programmed for something other than a burg zone.
