Are these units really worth $293? That seems pretty high for an outdoor wireless PIR.

I use them in high risk industrial faciltys which are fenced and they work great pricy for residential but worth price over cheaper stuff which falses alot.
Thanks, that's good to know.
Speaking of pricing informtion, do you sell the Panasonic WV-NW502S security dome camera? If so, what is the pricing and availability?

Granted the Crows are not wireless, but that issue asside, how would you compare the 5800PIR-OD, Crow, and Optex? I have a couple of Optex now and they work fine, but the form factor is quite large for the outside of a residence.
Can the 5800PIR-OD provide a wired trigger for an adjacent security camera?

Wait a few months. You will be able to get them on ebay for half price.
I haven't purchased anything from ADI in 6 years.

I don't show that as an active part number. I checked two of the largest distributors and neither lists it. Do you know if it's a current model?
It was recently introduced by Panasonic. 123 and CDW list it on their websites.

The specs look great.

How much is an outdoor wireless PIR supposed to cost?
"Bout a hunderd dollars." -- Raymond from "Rain Man"
They should be free. Like health care.
