I am trying to re hook up a PTU on one of my systems and Nortel is harder to get information out of than the CIA. It is currently punched down on a bix block but I need to know what wires go where. I assume that each section of the Block uses or can use 4 pair. Again I assume that one is your Telco line and at least one goes up to the COT punch down on the block. I need another to power up an extension for PT phone. I know this is probably not the way to do it but thats what a previous installer did. HELP Please Im confused.
