Can anyone help with a "No Free key" error on a nortel phone system please?

You're trying to assign a feature or something to a particular set.

That "feature or something" _requires_ a key on the set.

All the keys on the set are already 'in use' for various purposes.

Thus, there is "No Free Key" for that which you are trying to assign.

Clear an un-needed key feature from that phone, and try again.

Perhaps you are trying to use a feature like Transfer that requires a call to be holding on an intercom key while another call is placed using a second intercom key. Ensure your phone has a minimum of two intercoms keys programmed. Just be casue they are labelled "intercom" does not mean they are. USer "Feature *0" and then press the buttons to display what they are programmed as.

If I had to guess I would say you are short of licenses (keycodes) as the other poster suggested, but if you have not found the issue it would help if you describe exactly what you are doing when you get the error. Are you in Element Manager? What version is your BCM?
