Load sharing groups with different set of servers??

Please log in for more thread options Alteon load balancers. We need the following functionality: - It should be possible to create multiple load sharing groups with different combination/set of servers. - At a time, the servers belonging to only one load sharing group should be used. - If certain number of servers belonging to a load sharing group fail, then that load sharing group should be removed and instead the other load sharing group should be used. Are these functionalities possible with the Nortel Alteon 2208/3408 load balancers? Also, I would like to know whether they support the load balancing based on only the number of connections (and not based on the weight of requests, round-robin sharing etc.) towards the servers. | |||||||||||||
