Pioneer VSX-D711 - S-Video doesn't work...suggestions?

Please log in for more thread options I'm trying to hook up my satellite and DVD video signals to the receiver and then on to my TV (through the s-video out port). Both the DVD player and Satellite S-Video signals work great when going directly to the TV but when going to the receiver, and then on to the TV, there is no video signal. Is there a setting that needs to be switched on the receiver...? I can't find anything in the manual...but am getting very frustrated. Any suggestions from the group or other D711 owners? Please log in for more thread options Well you are probably connecting the receiver to the TV using COMPONENT right..? If you are thats the problem your receiver probably doesnt convert the signals........If you have component from receiver to TV you also need to use Component Cable From DVD to receiver as well.... | ||||||||||||||||
