Please log in for more thread options to subscribe to Directv, but gave it up in part to the terrible quality of their signal....there was so much compression in most of the channels it was unwatchable. I am intrigued by the fact that they are adding new satellites that will allow them to offer 70+ HD channels. However, several months ago there was a column in Sound & Vision where the author made a similar claim....that they were compressing their HD channels to fit them in their bandwidth. Has anyone noticed if this is the case? Thanks | ||||||||||
