Any word on upcoming DD+ and DTSHD receivers?

Please log in for more thread options Hello guys, Has anyone heard anything about any manufacturers' plans to debut their A/V receivers supporting the new surround formats...DD+ and DTS-HD? Not too long ago, the news was, that Denon's upcoming 4806 would support those 2 surround formats. Now apparently Denon has decided to drop that plan. I was set on picking up a new receiver this year too. Hopefully one of the other manufacturers will debut theirs. After all we are supposed to get HDDVD & Bluray at the end of this year. Or just Bluray...if Toshiba and Sony can come to some kind of agreement. And make a formal announcement. Right now it's still up in the air. | ||||||||||
