Firefox 3 simply times out here, while links2 works
perfectly on the above link.

There's a broken background link to http://themes/...
(note invalid URL)
So, either use a "plain" browser, or add http://themes/*
to your adblock to prevent your browser attempting to
retrieve it... or use something like GET or wget and
read it directly from your filesystem.
